ĽUBOMÍR GAŠPAR

An internationally renowned musician and educator, Ľubomír grew up with folklore but has also explored classical music and jazz. He is a recipient of the prestigious Radio Head Awards for his album The Point of View. Ľubomír specializes in the cimbalom, using it innovatively by incorporating elements uncharacteristic of the instrument. Drawing from the folklore of various nations, he integrates these influences into jazz and other genres. He is part of projects like Ľubomír Gašpar Cimbal Project, MANUŠA, Roby Lakatos Ensemble, and SOLE, crafting a distinctive musical signature that makes him exceptional on the Slovak and international scene.
